Everyone loves a St. Paddy's Parade!

We had such a great weekend but it seemed to go by WAY TOO FAST. It seems like it was a blink between dinner on Friday and Tim packing for his week in Chicago Sunday night. I think that is why I was in a little bit of a funky mood today... I didn't want Monday to be here.

But let's talk about that awesome weekend instead of boo-hoo Monday. My friend David called on Saturday morning and invited us to join he and his little munchkin at the Brookside St. Paddy's Day parade. We made our way down there and are so glad we did! Kate was dressed up in the green sweater dress that Aunt Amy gave her for Christmas (and it was so cute Aunt Amy :)

Everything was awesome and we thought we were prepared...
We had a great day (sunny and warm)
We had diapers
We had a bottle for Kate
We had Tim, Casey and Kate
... but we didn't have a stroller ... oops
Well, we are still learning :)

So we had to carry the carseat with our 13 lbs little angel quite a ways to get to the parade but luckily Tim didn't mind carrying her (or at least didn't complain about it). Next time we'll bring chairs, the stroller, and get there early enough to get a brat (and a beer)!!!

On Sunday, we went to Atchison to spend time with our family including Aunt Susan and the cousins who traveled up from Austin. Kate had SO MUCH FUN playing with everyone. She giggled and squealed and talked Maddie's ear off. It was such a wonderful afternoon.

Tim and I also got to spend time planning out Kate's baptism with Father Girard. It is planned for April 5 and we are fortunate to have Cindy and Dan agree to be Kate's godparents. We are so blessed and will make sure we post pictures when the time comes.

Have a wonderful week! We love you all.
