We had such a great trip down to Texas. It was Kate's first flight and she handled it like a pro. She loved watching people in the airport and she could have cared less about the plane taking off and landing. We had so many compliments from others around us about how great she did on the plane. I think we have a natural traveler on our hands (just like her mama... likes to GO GO GO).
We went down to Dallas to attend Kristen's first birthday. We also got to visit with family, college friends, high school friends and LOTS of babies! I only wish we had more time to spend with everyone (maybe another trip soon?!?!?!?!). I feel so lucky to have such wonderful friends. It warms my heart to go see people that you haven't seen in many months but are able to just catch right up where you left off. My friends have such beautiful families and I know that we are all so blessed. Thank you Lord for watching over all of us. I'm sad I didn't get a picture with Katy's new baby Nick - he is a cutie!!!! I'll have to see if Katy can send me a copy of the pic we took with him.
We'll have lots to share in our next post. I have a girls night planned for Saturday (woo hoo) and Kate is getting baptized on Sunday. We will have a wonderful weekend and I hope you do too!
